Some moments you remember a little extra.

We’ve all been kids, and some moments are definitely remembered a little extra. Those evenings when you got to accompany your parents, and maybe a few more, to go out and eat in a cozy place where you were also allowed to be a kid.

That’s why we’ve made sure that the Burgers & Beer nights are just as cozy and fun for you as a parent as they are for the kids who come along. I have nieces and nephews who are 7 and 9 years old, and of course, I want them to think that Uncle has the most fun place, so I’ve had them in mind when putting together these evenings.

However, I must remind you that we are a group of friends who have built the place we enjoy hanging out at, not a charter destination with different cartoon characters. But with plenty of space to run around when your legs are filled with energy, free mini golf, a small playground, and even a lake to swim in if you bring swimwear and feel like it, there will be enough things to do and discover.

Who usually comes?

Everyone! You probably have to been here to understand what we mean by that, but truly, everyone comes here, and that’s what creates an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Families with kids often come first to swim, play mini golf, have some fun, and maybe make sure the kids get something to eat early. Then curious seniors and groups of friends arrive. It becomes a diverse mix, and the atmosphere is so amazing that it’s hard to put into words. But at least we’ve tried to answer the question. Come and see!

When is the best time for kids?

The first seating starts at 16:00, and it’s around that time and for about an hour after that when most people with kids show up. But of course, you’re welcome to come anytime throughout the evening.

The troubadour starts at 18:00. You can drop by and hope for an available table, but since we usually get fully booked, it’s wise to make a reservation in advance – either by clicking the “book a table” button below or emailing Emelie at hungrig@friluftsbyn.se .
